Steve has over 30 years of aviation experience that ranges from civilian and military air traffic control, flight dispatch, airline operations, airline sales and marketing, and presently, airport management.
Steve is a United States Air Force veteran and served during the Viet Nam era. Steve has been an adjunct professor with Broward College’s Aviation Institute and has taught classes in airport and airline management.
Steve is a local and graduated from Hialeah High School. He graduated from Florida International University and was a member of the University’s first graduating class.
Steve also holds an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MA in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
Steve lives in Weston with his wife Angela. They have three young adults between them.

Tony Goodmann leads a group of sales channels for Universal Orlando Resort, with a focus on e-commerce & airline vacation package clients. As Sr. Director of Destination Sales, his team is focused on growing sales thru 3rd party channels that help Universal Orlando Resort amplify its vacation destination of theme parks & on-site hotel offerings. Tony has an extensive airline sales & distribution background having previously worked for number of US carriers. He was part of the team that launched San Francisco based Virgin America, which achieved an industry first by generating +$1Billion in operating revenues within 5 years of its launch, while earning multiple Best-in-Class awards.

Orlando International Airport (MCO)
Jerry Harris joined the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority in 1993 as a Planner in Strategic Planning. The newly formed department was responsible for producing Orlando International Airport’s first strategic plan and providing support to the Marketing Department.
In 1995, Jerry joined the Marketing Department enabling him to provide better support to Marketing’s Air Service Development efforts. After serving as a Marketing Planner, Research Manager and Webmaster, he was promoted to Assistant Director and now oversees the Air Service Development, Business Development, Marketing and Research functions of the department as well as the airport’s web site.
Prior to joining GOAA, Jerry designed and developed computer systems for British Airways at London/Heathrow Airport, on a wide range of platforms from mainframe computers to PCs. In 1992, Jerry left British Airways and moved to Orlando, where he worked as a systems
analyst/programmer for IBM.
Jerry was born in England, and graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA in Business, specializing in Finance and Accounting.
Executive VP Marketing & Communications
Tampa International Airport (TPA)
As Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Chris is responsible for the air service development, advertising, marketing, research, real estate, communications and government relations activities of the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority.
Chris and his award-winning team developed and implemented the strategy to recruit and sustain new flights to Zurich, Panama, London, Cuba, and Amsterdam.
Before joining Tampa International Airport in 2011, he served three years as Assistant Vice President, Air Service Development for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with responsibility for passenger and cargo network development in the Americas, Europe, and Africa. His successes included new air service to DFW from San Francisco and Los Angeles on Virgin America and from Amsterdam on KLM.
Prior to his time in Dallas, Chris worked for the Port of Oakland where he led the Marketing and Communications team for Oakland International Airport. His duties there included advertising, marketing, customer service, media relations, and air service development.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University and completed additional studies at the University of California at Berkeley and Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He has served as Vice President of the Airport Area Business Association and on industry leadership committees with Airports Council International.
In the community, Chris serves on the Boards of the Tampa Bay Chamber, Visit Tampa Bay, and the Tony Jannus Distinguished Aviation Society. He is also an Honorary Wing Commander of the 927th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill AFB, a graduate of Leadership Florida Class 37 and a past chair of the Airport’s United Way Suncoast Annual Giving Campaign. Chris lives with his wife Andrea and their two sons in Safety Harbor.

Miami International Airport (MIA)
Jimmy Nares is the Section Chief of Aviation Marketing for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD), which operates Miami International Airport (MIA). His duties include forming and implementing cargo development marketing programs in the areas of pharmaceuticals, perishables, and manufactured products. He also serves as MIA’s representative as a Strategic Member of the Pharma.Aero association whose mission is to advance the air pharma transport industry through international collaboration with other stakeholders. Prior to joining MDAD in 2015, Mr. Nares worked in Miami-Dade County’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade for 13 years.
Mr. Nares holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University in Miami, Florida USA.
Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics
Jacob Pewitt Yancey is the Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics. In this role, he leads the VISIT FLORIDA research team responsible for producing quarterly visitor estimates, evaluations of the effectiveness of VISIT FLORIDA’s marketing and consumer insights used in planning the company's marketing strategies.
Jacob has spent most of his career working in and around state government. Most recently, he served as the Director of the Office of Research and Planning for Florida CFOs Jimmy Patronis and Jeff Atwater. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Tulane University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida, and a graduate certificate in Information Architecture from Florida State University. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association, and on the U.S. Travel Association Research Advisory Board.
When not doing research, Jacob can be found petting his five cats or backpacking in the mountains of Colorado.

Dana Young leads Florida’s official destination marketing organization in partnership with its Board of Directors and the statewide tourism industry.
Throughout her career, Dana has served in leadership positions working to cultivate and protect Florida’s exceptional business climate and a world-class quality of life. Dana served in the Florida House from 2010 through 2016, rising to Majority Leader for the 2015 and 2016 legislative sessions. In 2016, she was elected to the Florida Senate, where she represented parts of western Hillsborough County for two years. Dana was appointed to the VISIT FLORIDA position by Governor Ron DeSantis in January of 2019. In addition to her duties as President and CEO, she is a member of the U.S. Travel Association’s Chairman’s Circle.
Dana is a sixth-generation Floridian and was born and raised in Tallahassee. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Florida State University and, in pursuit of her interest in law and public policy, graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993, and maintained a robust environmental law practice for many years. In her free time, Dana enjoys spending time in natural Florida and tarpon fishing with her husband, Matt, and two daughters, Alexandra and Carson.
